What Sports did you Play at Independence High School? 

A: 4 years of Volleyball

What are your Athletic Accomplishments?

A: I have received an academic award for every season that I played volleyball. For my last season I received the Blue and Gold award. 

What is your Best Memory about competing in a Blue Devil Uniform?

A: For my last season as a Lady Blue Devil, I really enjoyed going to states for volleyball and competing against Liberty Benton.

Who made the Greatest Impact on You as a Blue Devil Athlete?

A: I think my teammates had the biggest impact on me because they always pushed me to do my very best.

What will you miss most about being a Blue Devil Athlete?

A: The thing I will miss most about being an IHS athlete are the bonds that I have created with my teammates because the sport brought us together as a family.

What other Extra-curricular Activities did you participate in while at IHS?

A: I have participated in ski club, prom committee, and DFCA.

What Advice do you have for your Teammates?

A: Always keep your head up and have a positive attitude. Don’t let anyone bring you down. Keep striving for success and don’t stop chasing your dreams even if someone wants you to.

What Advice do you have for Future Blue Devils?

A: Do what you love and have a passion for it and don’t let anyone take that away from you. Always give 110%, never give up, and continue to keep pushing even through the tough times.

What are your Future Plans?

A: I am planning on going to college and I would like to attend Ursuline College to further my education in becoming a nurse.
