The Blue Devils held the Trojans scoreless in the opening quarter, only 10 points at half and 22 points for the game on their way to a 50-22 conference victory. It was the teams third game in 5 days, fighting tired legs the Devils pushed through with a tremendous effort at both ends to secure their eleventh straight CVC win this season.
Riley Wilson led all scorers with 16 points to go with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Two other Blue Devils scored in double figures with Haylee Dmitruk and Madison Stepanik each adding 10 points. Madison also was given the assignment to defend Trinity’s 6′ 1″ center, holding her scoreless and grabbing 11 rebounds of her own for the game. Kella DiGeronimo , Anna Weber and Reni Kaiser found the net for 7, 5 and 2 points respectively.
The Blue Devils travel to Cuyahoga Heights Wednesday evening for their second match up of the season.
