Play good defense and run the floor was the plan Saturday for the Devils. It seemingly worked as the Blue Devils scored 28 first quarter points leading to a 76-38 win at home over Grand Valley.
Riley Wilson led all scorers with 26 points, marking a single game high for her this season. Anna Weber and Madison Stepanik were also in double figures adding 15 and 10 points respectively. Eight other Blue Devils scored as well, led by Kara DeSmith and her 6 points, Haylee Dmitruk and Kenzie McMahon chipped in 4 each, Kella DiGeronimo found the net for 3 points and Reni Kaiser, Bella Shumay, Addie Westerburg and Chloe Firrel had 2 a piece.
The Blue Devils are 12-0 over all and 8-0 in the CVC.
Next Saturday the Trinity Trojans visit Independence for a 10am tip-off.
